Cut to men performing PT. A group of RN officers talk together. Various shots of the barrage balloon vessel HMS Haslemere inside the blockship line. A launch comes alongside the cameraship and Captain Petrie, the officer directing the laying down of the Mulberry harbour, comes onboard. Sequence shot from a DUKW showing freighters unloading inside the blockship line - the DUKW is at the eastern end of the anchorage and camera pans over the section of the line from 117 to 121 - Ingman, Agios Spyridon, Sirehei, Lynhaug. II. RE group armour is embarked on LCTs. MS to a LCT(5)s lying bows on to the beach, one with a Churchill SBG (Small Box Girder bridgelaying tank) onboard. Churchill AVREs embark, reversing up onto the LCTs. Men load boxes of rations onto a Sherman Crab - CU of the tank's running gear as it reverses onto a LCT. LA shot of raised SBG onboard LCT(5) 1408. A Churchill AVRE carrying a fascine joins a SBG on the embarkation hard. Final shot of LCT 1408 - freeboard is noticeably reduced by the weight of the Churchill SBG.
