A Roman Catholic priest points out the structural works needed to restore a brick-built outbuilding. Burmese locals and priests clear ditches of undergrowth and cut bamboo stakes. Burmese workers build structural frames for houses from bamboo. A nun leads a column of Burmese children to a makeshift school room set up under a temporary bamboo-frame sun cover.
II. 'ALUMINIUM HOUSES.' Panoramic footage shows a large exterior storage area for aluminium sheets at a factory in Shipshaw, Canada. Interior factory footage shows a male factory worker shaping aluminium sheets by industrial press. Builders construct aluminium prefabricated housing at an undisclosed location. A completed aluminium prefab is rolled out of the Shipshaw factory. A newly completed aluminium pre-fabricated house is shown in a mature garden layout.
III. 'AID TO GREECE.' British Army mules stand penned at an Italian railway siding awaiting loading onto transportation cars. Quayside views show the mules hoisted by cargo netting into the hold of a merchant ship bound for Greece. The mules are off-loaded at a Greek quayside and are inspected by a vet before being put to work transporting supplies on mountain tracks.
IV. 'NORTH AFRICA.' Aerial footage shows the desert floor. The French Governor General visits Fezzan Province in Libya, where he meets civil and military dignitaries. Local children wave home made French national flags as their teacher looks on. Libyan tribesmen on camels demonstrate their riding skills for the visiting French Governor. The Governor General visits Fort Laperrine where he meets veterans of North African campaign.
