- Description: On the bridge of Largs, Major-General Rennie consults a situation map and relays instructions into a microphone. Troops and a few of the crew gather on the focsle deck. LCT(4)s assemble, some of them carrying SBG AVREs. LCAs form up. HMS Scylla on the horizon. General views of the invasion craft - LSI(L) (Glenearn ?), LCI(S), LCT(4)s, LCF, LCAs, etc. LS of smokescreen obscuring the coast. MS of LCI(L) and LCAs on choppy sea. MCU of Rennie, Talbot (wearing 27 Armoured Brigade helmet), and Brigadier CRA, 3 Division. HA.MS of single 2-pounder emplacement. CU of Admiral Talbot taking a meal on the bridge. Midget submarine X.23 approaches and is secured alongside Largs - Lieutenant Honour comes onboard and talks with the Navigation Officer and Admiral Talbot, who offers him a cigarette.
