Summary: Unedited film showing the various stages of demobilisation; the identity of the central figure charges during the reel.
Description: Cheered off by his colleagues a stoker petty officer leaves the barracks carrying his papers and personal kit. His commander, Lieutenant Commander Royal Navy, shakes him by the hand. At the demobilisation centre the petty officer has his papers made up and receives payment. He is issued with his demobilisation clothing and emerges from a changing room in civvies. The film then reverts to a series of close ups from the preceding scenes: papers being made up; back pay being checked; being measured for demobilisation suit, choosing suit material and trying on a waistcoat.
