Description: Part of the 4" AA gun is painted with detector paint. Good scenes of crew in anti-gas kit operating, firing the gun. No time to consider gas spray while in operation, but protection is adequate. During lull, check detector paint. If necessary: carry out personal decontamination. Make gun area safe, wipe down fired cartridge cases., polished metal parts of the gun. Paintwork rubbed over with CQ. Wash deck then cover with bleach paste, sand. Re-oil exposed metal parts of gun.
