Description: I. MLS of HMS Grampus running submerged in a slight sea with attack and search periscopes and ECM raised and exhaust awash. Snort is also raised, and then all four masts come up further as the submarine shallows - the exhaust can now be clearly seen spewing out water. Similar sequences follow, showing slightly different combinations of masts.
II. HA onto three submarines alongside the depot ship Adamant - Grampus (S.04) inboard, with Narwhal (S.03) and Amphion (S.43) - in the background is a merchantman and a Colony Class cruiser. LA.MS of tripod mast on Adamant and pan down to shoot aft to crane swung out over the starboard beam - two Porpoise Class submarines are alongside. Passing shots from a smallcraft, showing Grampus, Narwhal and Amphion alongside Adamant - in one view the US nuclear submarine Skipjack (585) is also present. MS of the submarines Turpin and Aurochs (S.26) alongside Adamant - gash chute on Aurochs is pouring out water, and crewmen are busy taking on stores.
