Description: Opening LA.MS as one of 845 Squadrons Wessex HU.5s hovers over the deck to pick up a laden Land Rover trailer. Wessex serial XT 455 is towed along the deck by a tractor. General HA views of the air lift - men check the slings on one of the trailers, a Land Rover is driven to its pick-up point, two more trailers are lifted off. Marine officers watch the operation. A Wessex lands on and disembarks a squad of marines - a corporal checks that the returning men carry empty weapons. More marines return to the ship. Cut to MS as lift comes up crowded with soldiers, who form up along the starboard side waiting for their helicopter transport. General scenes of embarkation and air lifting of supplies - one Wessex picks up a cargo net filled with ammunition boxes. HA aft from the island - three Wessex helicopters wait along the portside of the deck while the marines' transport, which includes a Bell 47 Sioux helicopter, is parked to starboard - marines file down the centre of the flight deck, form up, and board the helicopters. A Wasp HAS.1, provided for liaison with the marines, takes on boxed supplies. LA as a Wessex lands on and is chocked up. Another Wessex is topped up with fuel as it disembarks troops. MCU sequence as a RM sergeant checks the weapons of returning men.
