Description: General views of shipping and coastal town (Suez ?). Yellow remote controlled submersibles are lowered over the side of minesweeper by crane. On board, operator watches images from the submersible's camera on video screen. Submersible is retrieved. Shots from small inflatable boat of buoy (?) being placed in the water. Divers kit up and get into the water. Sailors on shore leave in Cairo: sphinx and Great Pyramid, sailor tries his hand riding a camel, ratings shopping for souvenirs and having a drink. Suez Canal: minesweeper HMS Wilton (M1116) sails past, Oil Endeavour is also seen. Footage from submersible's camera shows cylindrical object on canal bed, also undersea life.
