Description: I. The Hawker Typhoon: although described as a "formidable weapon" in all its roles, the film concentrates on the rocket-firing Typhoon's role as flying artillery. Film of ground-crew preparing and loading rockets, and some good film of Typhoons in action against ground targets.
II. South Wales Miners accident service: claiming that the days when securing adequate compensation was the main preoccupation are over, replaced by a concern to ensure a speedy and complete recovery and return to work, the film traces an accident case through first aid, ambulance and hospital service (specialist hospitals, eg for fractures) to the employers' and employees' jointly established rehabilitation centre at Talygarn.
