Description: (Tape 1) Scenes of RAS (replenishment at sea) - refuelling hose is attached. Air to air footage of part of the sinkex (sinking exercise itself): Lynx helicopter is seen on attack run against HMS Charybdis, and fires a Sea Skua missile. Damage to Charybdis is shown.
(Tape 2) Further aerial shots of the Sinkex, including two frigates - one is HMS Active (F171) - firing missiles at Charybdis. Shots of the hulk smouldering with a large hole in her side; later, there is an explosion in the sea at her bow end. Lengthy shots of Charybdis on fire (although sinking itself is not shown).
