Description: I. Sea Hawks on HMS Eagle. HA.MS onto foredeck - Sea Hawk is launched from port catapult. LS-MS as Sea Hawk lands on - two firemen watch in the foreground. HA sequence as Sea Hawk WF 174 of 806 Squadron fires starting cartridge and straightens wings. Shot from lift as it rises to deck level, where a Sea Hawk is waiting - the aircraft is manhandled onto the lift.
II. Sea Hawks on HMS Ocean. Sea Hawks catapulted off. LA.MS from hangar deck, aft below the round down, as Sea Hawk approaches for a landing, flaps and undercarriage down - four more aircraft follow. Similar sequence, shot from the flight deck - seven aircraft pass directly over the camera. Series of shots aft down starboard side, and HA from the island, as 898 Squadron Sea Hawks and others land on. HA.MS as Sea Hawk XE 342 taxies forward, wings folding, to join two aircraft already parked forward on the starboard side of the flight deck. XE 341 joins them - deck crew place chocks behind parked aircraft.
