Technical Details: Format: 16mm
Number of items/reels/tapes: 1
Footage: 330 ft; Running time: 9 mins

Notes: Summary: footage was received with no documentation and little identification. Information is partly based on the recollections of DPR(N)cameraman, Alan Fowler, in 1993, who, although he did not shoot this reel, was fairly certain that it showed survivors from HMS Sheffield (or similar) picking up money and clothing before their return to the UK. (See note to ADM 4821).
Remarks: the reel seems more than usually lacking in coherence - the cameraman seems to have no notion of how to build a story in the camera.
