Description: I. Forward 3/4 MS as Ruler Class aircraft carrier (HMS Thane) approaches and signals.
II. Aerial medium shot of Messerschmitt Bf 109E aircraft.
III. LS profile of HMS Eagle. LS pan around anchorage - carrier vessels and battleships stern on.
IV. LS as low level raider - burning and trailing wreckage into the sea - explodes into a mass of flame. MS of explosion is open sea - foam to further explosions (a stick of bombs?).
V. MS from top of beach as soldiers assist winch in hauling 18-pounder and limber up a corduroy track from an LCM (1). Valentine is reversed down the beach into MLC 27. LS of LCAs close inshore. MS as soldiers run up the beach from an LCA. Bulldozer disembarks from MLC 122.
VI. Portside, forward 3/4 MS of scuttled Admiral Graf Spee burning on the water.
VII. MS of heavily listing and burning merchantman.
VIII. Various 3/4 MSs of HMS London moved close inshore in the Far East - Standard Light Tone colours, canvas awning rigged over quarterdeck. MCU track from bow to stern. Foreground details in the various MS views include lateen rigged fishing vessels and native fishermen washing and casting a seine net.
IX. LA.MS of single 2-pounder emplacement - rating in duffel coat walks round his gun. MS taken from the bows showing focsle twin 4-inch of 'C' Class AA cruiser with rocket projectors either side - the rockets fire and ratings come to reload.
