Title:TROOPS BOARD LANDING CRAFT FROM CANBERRA [Allocated Title]
Film Number:ADM 4835
Other titles:FALKLANDS CONFLICT [Allocated Series Title]
Summary: Troops board landing craft in the South Atlantic.
Description: Somewhere out at sea, landing craft approach the camera ship (Canberra) from HMS Fearless or HMS Intrepid. Shots show marines boarding the landing craft from Canberra, presumably in preparation for landing on the Falklands (first landings took place in darkness on the morning of 21/5/1982). Further shots show the battle fleet at sea in fairly rough seas. In clearer weather, a Wessex picks up supplies from the landing pad on Canberra.
