Summary:
Description: I. Onboard Largs a priest conducts a service for the ship's Catholics.
II. MS forward to the bridge, from a position just aft of the mainmast searchlight, and pan right over the anchorage. LA.MS of signal hoist. LSH(L) Largs gets underway - embarked personnel include Major-General Rennie, GOC 3 Div, and Lieutenant-General Crocker, GOC I Corps. On the bridge, Captain Allan receives a signal. Underway with Largs is a large flotilla of LCTs, cargo vessels, and ships of the support forces - including HMS Eglington (L.87) of Force D. In the communications room, RAF W/T operators and cypher clerks are at work.
