Film Number:ADM 1691

Summary: Test firing of a Seaslug missile against a target drone in the Mediterranean.
Description: XLS of the rocket in flight - one of the boosters seems to separate prematurely and falls away still burning. After this the missile's vapour trail becomes disturbed, suggesting that it has developed some axial rotation, but it continues climbing and hits the target drone. After the explosion the camera holds on the aircraft, which glints in the sunlight as it falls spinning to crash into the sea.
