Description: I. Views from HMS Aristocrat, lying alongside the line of blockships - east to the bridge of the Georgios, and west to line of caissons beyond Saltersgate. Tugs, MFV 610, and a LCVP are among the small craft secured alongside. Sequence filmed onboard a blockship - the partially submerged deck is awash, and an empty oil drum and dislodged air ventilator cap heave in the swell. LS pan showing the extent of the blockship breakwater.
II. LS to cliffs and floating roadway sections. MS from onboard DUKW X34, approaching the seawall at Arromanches.
