Various medium shots taken by cameras from small craft passing along the outside of the bombardon barrier off Arromanches - merchantmen, Phoenix caissons, boom defence vessel, are visible inside the breakwater. Sea is choppy, and waves breaking against the bombardons send up plumes of spray. MCU as camera craft passes through the bombardon line. MCU of bombardon 'Selma'. Surface conditions improve markedly once inside the line of the breakwater.
