Description: I. Australian Army paratroopers, some with strap-on cameras, check their jumpsuits (which are embroidered "Army" and "Talon 2") before getting into an aircraft and taking off. Shots inside the flying aircraft as the paratroopers jump and descend. Shots of descent taken by jumpers using the strapped-on cameras. The paratroopers open their canopies and paraglide down to land on a (fairly crowded) beach.
II. Landing craft, small craft and landing craft in Dili harbour. Shots on board landing craft under sail - soldiers in full kit and armoured personnel carriers are being transported. General views of harbour. helicopters fly over church near the waterfront. Landing craft comes ashore - vehicles and troops disembark as local people watch. Shot of distant shoreline across the bay - a fire is burning. Shots on board landing craft as she approaches and docks with "HMAS Tobruk" - transport is driven from "Tobruk's" hold directly onto the landing craft. On board "Tobruk", a crane is used to load eight wheeled personnel carriers into a landing ship.
