Summary: Random scenes of the RAF Regiment battle training.
Description: After a brief shot of a Blenheim laying smoke, a Whitley tows a Hotspur to the battle site. It is cast off and descends, seen in both mid and a good close shot. 332 Squadron Spitfires rest in the foreground. Air Chief Marshal Sir Sholto Douglas inspects RAF Regiment troops, a Smith gun and crew. He takes the salute of the march past which includes cyclists. Takes of Hotspurs detaching from Whitleys and landing are shown. After a camera test more shots of the march past (framed by a Spitfire wing) are shot. Ground crew in full battle dress and kit start up a Spitfire of 332 Squadron. The squadron moves off. 12 Bostons fly over, then a smoke screen is laid as RAF Regiment crews pull a Smith gun into position (mid to long shot). Whitleys fly low through the smoke and there are good shots of 331 Squadron aircraft taxiing.
