Summary: The Maharajah of Nawanagar visits 124 (Baroda) Squadron.
Description: Reel 1. His Royal Highness, in a colonel's uniform, addresses men of the Squadron and when finished the CO of 124 Squadron replies. The reel also shows the Maharajah chatting to and inspecting members of the squadron and inspecting a Spitfire. The speech is again covered from a different angle and he watches a flying demonstration from the control tower balcony. Some of the personnel are from the RAAF, RNZAF and one from the Royal Netherlands Naval Air Service.
Reel 2. The reel opens with shots of the formal march past. Thereafter the Maharajah inspects Halifax Mk I of 35 Squadron. One aircraft motto is shown in close up as 'Madras Presidency' 'KRISTNA'. The reel also shows him firing the armament of a Spitfire in the butts and various other views of the tour. He is accompanied and chats to Air Marshal Leigh-Mallory.
