Competition: Win tickets to Duxford Battle of Britain Airshow

COMPETITION NOW OVER. Congratulations to Mark Tonynbee who correctly guessed that the actor pictured is a young Richard Attenborough. He says... "My Dad worked on Hurricanes in the war and I've got a bit he took out of a damaged one during the Battle of Britain. I'm a complete WW2 plane nut and I couldn't be more excited"

The Battle of Britain Air Show returns to IWM Duxford this weekend, with the site transforming into a film set in commemoration of the 1969 Battle of Britain film. As well as historic aircraft flying overhead, an on-site cinema will be screening a selection of IWM films.

We have a pair of tickets to give away this Sunday 22 September. To be in with a chance, all you have to do is answer the following question.

Competition: Can you identify who the young star above is?

Clue - the documentary feature tells the story of a navigator who wanted to be a pilot from 1944 and is in the IWM film collection.

Send the answer, your name and telephone number to afenton@iwm.org.uk by 11am on Wednesday, 18 September with 'Famous Faces' in the subject line and we will let you know by AOB if you are the winner. The only proviso is that you need to be a subscriber to the IWM Media Licensing enews. Sign up here if not! Travel and expenses on the day are not included.
