Description: [SEE REMARKS]. Reel 1. Preparation of the Camp: ground cleared; bell tents, Nissen and other prefabricated huts erected. Soldiers put up wire fence, low platforms at corners. A railway station: British troops waiting on platform, arrival of crowded train (some carriages have wire over windows). Train's occupants (all ages, men women and children) moved under guard to lorries; some on stretchers. Lorries drive off through village. Reel 2. Camp scenes; crowded compound; official fills in forms for long queue of people; people washing etc. A group of people leave a run-down (official looking) building). The airfield reception (visitors arrive by York). More camp scenes: men filling palliasses by bell tents, women washing by huts, inmates reading etc. British soldier on guard duty.
