Summary:Compton, a Youth Employment Officer, encourages children to consider what they wish to do for a career, with suggests as to how to find out about their own personalities.
Description:In a classroom, Compton uses Mike Edwards (an ex-pupil who wasted years in a variety of odd jobs before finding his true vocation as a mechanic in the army) as an example. Two 15 year olds, Roger and Mary, are told how to "find out about themselves". Scenes with Roger this, and (Reel 2) with Mary. Compton returns to see the results, and invites viewers to decide what Roger is suited for, considering five aspects (brains, special talents, interests, disposition, health); they themselves will soon have to do this, and to consult their parents and the Youth Employment Officer.
