Summary: A military training film developed to enhance fully trained Radar Operators' understanding of operations, illustrating the three main roles of AA (Anti aircraft) radar - Warning, Tactical Control and Fire Control. The film is intended for operators already experienced in practical working of Radars AA No 3 Mk 7 and No 4 Mk 6. It presents by realistic simulation the Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) displays and conditions likely to be met whilst engaged during hostile operations, especially during massed raids. The effects and countermeasures relating to jamming (notably those called 'Criss-Cross', 'Tramline' and 'Railing' jamming) on "M" and PPI (Plan Position Indicator) displays are detailed, in addition to the entire process of identifying and relaying information on targets, through to the final engagement of the Fire Control team.
