The troop commanders execute the plans, laying mines and barbed wire, preparing obstacles and defensive positions and demolishing inconvenient buildings. The use of nuclear weapons is mentioned briefly, both as a defensive measure against enemy advance and in terms of preparing soldiers for nuclear attack.
