After the ceremony, crewmen disperse along the flightdeck, where Sea Furies are taking the sun.
IV. Reel Two. HMS Belfast, off Inchon. CU as the C-in-C Far Eastern Station, Vice-Admiral The Honourable Sir Guy Russell, is piped onto the quarterdeck - he shakes hands, blows his nose. HA to motor launch alongside as General Cassels comes onboard - he is greeted by Captain Duckworth, and introduced to the ship's senior officers.
V. HMS Belfast bombards the Amgak peninsula at the mouth of the Taedong River. MS forward on the port beam of Belfast, moving onto the port bow - A turret commences firing to port. Belfast has starboard anchor catted and is stationary, or just creeping. MS off the port quarter to X and Y turrets, trained fore and aft with X turret guns at high elevation - frame left cuts off the body of the ship just forward of the mainmast, and the picture is rather unsteady from the motion of the camera-boat - X turret tries a series of ranging shots with right hand barrel before firing a series of full salvoes - X turret changes target, and fires a series of full salvoes at almost zero degrees elevation. LS to the coast, where a pall of smoke covers the shoreline - at the end of the shot the cameraman misjudges, and the coastline drops below the bottom of the screen.
