Description: The film shows the assault and blowing up of a "radiolocation installation" situated on an island and the subsequent evacuation of the troops by LCA off a steep beach. The exercise, much of it obviously staged for the camera, involves paratroops and glider troops in Horsas (with Whitley tugs), and various items of equipment such as folding bicycles and motorcycles, jeeps etc. The film includes a pep talk by the CO (General Gail), shots of the interior of the gliders in flight, and shots of troops retrieving equipment from airdrop containers. The film was made as "support for the airborne troops by factory workers".
