Summary: A Halas and Batchelor cartoon on the need for scrap.
Description: Various items of rubbish are thrown at a cat, which complains at this mistreatment; a park railing suggests they should enlist, and they do so (the "recruiting office" is a salvage dump), they go to a factory where production stops for want of material, more "recruits" are gathered in from attics, cupboards etc. The original pieces of scrap become a shell which is fired into the heart of a Swastika: the Swastika 'explodes' into the caption "Mobilise Your Scrap".
